Friction Quartet Residency
A special Winter Residency featured the award-winning Friction Quartet, who enjoyed a sponsored retreat in the Trinity Alps. They gave back to the surrounding communities by offering 3 free community concerts and visiting 3 local schools. April
Peter and the Wolf
A week long tour of Sergei Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf featuring 12 musicians, in full costume, who presented 4 free public concerts and visited 7 Northern California schools, reaching over 2,500 children. May
Brahms, Bartok, and Bates
The Trinity Alps Chamber Players, a group featuring young virtuosi affiliated with the expanding Trinity Alps Chamber Music Festival, joined forces with Bay Area composer Alden Jenks and soprano Amy Foote for a concert of recent music by California composers --- plus a rarely heard work by Bela Bartok in Berkeley, CA. June
Italian Chamber Music
The Trinity Alps Chamber Music Festival with the Carmel Bach Festival and the Italian Cultural Institute presented "Italian Chamber Music - Vivaldi's Four Seasons" in San Francisco, CA.
