Peter and the Wolf - April 1 - 6, 2014

2/21/2014

Peter and the Wolf has been a family favorite since Walt Disney released his animated version of it in 1946.

Originally written for a full orchestra, the Trinity Alps Chamber Players introduce a special chamber music arrangement for 10 musicians and narrator. Each character in the story is played by a different instrument – the Bird by the flute, the Duck by the oboe, the Cat by the clarinet, the Wolf by the horn, the Grandfather by the bassoon, the Hunters by the woodwinds, and the hero of the story, Peter, by the violin.

Ian,
I wish I lived closer to see the whole thing. But I really enjoyed the short video. Thank you.
